Eman commenced her legal career in 2013 and joined with the GenLaw team in 2015. Eman has a passion for criminal law and family law, which she developed during her time at university.

 

It is her enthusian for these areas of law which brought Eman to GenLaw. She fits perfectly into GenLaw, sharing our ethos of prioriting the needs of our clients, ensuring that the client is heard, keeping clients well informed and supporting them through the legal process.

 

Eman treats her clients as individuals and takes the time to gather the facts of each client's case thoroughly. This allows Eman to confidently advocate for he clients' best interests in court.

 

Eman graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of Technology Sydney in 2014, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in the same year. And was admitted to the High Court of Australia Register of Practitioners in 2015.

 

Eman brings a strong work ethic, patience and positive attitude to her work. Her calm disposition helps to minimise the stress often associated with court proceedings. To this end, Eman takes the time to explain court procedures to her clients so that they can make informed decisions about their matters.

GenLaw was established by our Principal Solicitor, Silvia Genovese, after she recognised a gap in the legal market. Over and over Silvia heard stories of lawyers not listening to their clients.

 

Silvia entered the legal profession to help people. It's hard to help people when you don't know their story. That's why Silvia takes to time to get to know her clients and their stories. She listens to her clients and works hard to achieve the best legal outcome possible for them. She communicates with clients and makes herself accessible.

 

Silvia has seven years of experience as a solicitor. She has spent most of that time in Court, not observing or instructing Counsel, but presenting the case as an advocate, protecting her client's rights. The Court room is her office. She is completely at ease in Court, so you can feel comfortable too.

 

Silvia is regarded as a respected solicitor advocate in the areas of criminal law, family law and civil litigation. She worked as a Solicitor in a mid tier firm in Sydney and as a Senior Associate in a busy suburban practice before establishing GenLaw. Silvia takes control of her client's cases from beginning to end, guiding them through the process with her expertise and skill.

 

Silvia graduated with a Bachelor of Law and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with High Distinction. In 2012 she completed her Masters in Laws at Sydney University.

 

Silvia treats her clients the way they deserve to be treated, with respect and honesty. It takes a lot to get her stressed or worried. Her confidence and joyful disposition helps to ease the discomfort and pain often associated with litigation.

Carmen's position at GenLaw is the Office Manager, due many years experience in Legal Support and her patience & attention for detail are what sets her apart.

 

Carmen is particularly passionate about conveyancing and has worked as a conveyancing support for over the past 40 years. Spelling mistakes or grammatical errors are not tolerated by Carmen, she is our office perfectionist.

 

Carmen communicates well with clients, and enjoys helping people, that is reflected in the high quality of her work.
